Filming a Live Performance and 5 Music Videos in 3 Days for Starling Arrow in Asheville, NC.

In 2022 we were asked to roll out to Asheville NC, on a 3 day trip to record a multicamera performance at The Hawke and Hawthorne featuring the newly formed "Girl Band" Starling Arrow. This group was born in the deep of Covid shutdowns, songs written over zoom calls, and recorded in quarantine in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The group came together to make lullaby music for dark times, and that is no doubt what they did. Members are comprised of Chloe and Leah from Rising Appalachia, Ayla Nereo, Marya Stark, and Tina Malia. Each taking turns lead writing different songs being accompanied by the others.

Hearts Media was tasked to come out to a private event and capture the entire performance for a paid portal online offering they created, so those videos aren't readily available. But the following two days we recorded 5 music videos with a crew of 2 people. It sounds crazy, but we did it, and with over 2million+ views on youtube alone, these videos continue to reach thousands daily and we are still proud of the work today. Check the project out below!
