In 2025, the Executive Director of the Floyd Tourism Department reached out with a request for proposal. They gave us no information about what they wanted, just a budget number and a deadline for submitting the bid. We won the project, and got to work. In 2022 we were asked to roll out to Asheville NC, on a 3 day trip to record a multicamera performance at The Hawke and Hawthorne featuring the newly formed "Girl Band" Starling Arrow. This group was born in the deep of Covid shutdowns, songs written over zoom calls, and recorded in quarantine in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We had the honor of being asked to take on the endeavor to record 7 bands on a school bus converted into a recording studio that lives in FestivalPark VA for FloydFest Horizon in 2024.
